Mr. Black is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley and Santa Clara University School of Law. He has litigated hundreds of complex cases, including cases involving medical malpractice, wrongful death, big-rig accidents, pharmacy malpractice, clergy sexual abuse, and catastrophic injuries, including paralysis and amputation.

Mr. Black’s practice emphasizes the representation of those whose lives have been devastated by serious injuries and the wrongful death of loved ones. He has recently obtained many seven figure settlements, and was one of the lawyers involved in the historic $660 million settlement with the Los Angeles Archdiocese.
